It sounds ridiculous, but you’re so in touch with nature.”  (Photo by Rob Bennett, NY Times) (From this story in today’s NY Times about five people who live on a boat in the waters off Manhattan, rent-free.  Of course, they have Internet access.) My pleasure, I enjoy a lot of the articles that you post.  I walk by the water near the Sand Bar in Jersey City, just across from lower Manhattan and watch the boats, often wondering if people are living in them.  Of course they easily can in the real nice fully functional yachts with heat and showers, the ones that are given cheesy names like Fortune or Triumph.  But there are a few questionable vessels that I’ve seen parked here over time and guessed if people own and live, or just squat in the them.  It’s an interesting topic being so close to NYC, and a good quick read that touches upon one instance of it somewhere around here.
