Okey dokey, the stitches are out and they put my leg in a new brace today.  It turns out there was more to the surgery than I realized.  In addition to a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), my lateral collateral ligament and lateral meniscus were also torn.  Between that and the 3 screws in my knee, femur and shin, I feel a bit better knowing my few complaints of pain over the last week might have been justified.  I post this just to offer an update, to give my Mom a huge shout out - I couldn’t have gotten through this week without her help, to (sorta) jokingly remind everyone to be careful not to get hit by a car!  ..and to wish you all good health and happiness!
